The American Kennel Club is the PKC's parent organization. Among other things at their website, you can get information about specific dog breeds, reach breed clubs & rescue organizations, and find clubs & events in your area.

The Upper Snake River Valley Dog Training Club is an organization similar to the Pocatello Kennel Club, and is located in Idaho Falls.

The Eagle Rock Kennel Club is another organization similar to the Pocatello Kennel Club, and they're also located in Idaho Falls.

In Boise, the AKC-member club is the Idaho Capital City Kennel Club. Their website contains a lot of good information, such as their own section on choosing a dog that's right for you.

Boise Agility Runners & Climbers, as their name implies, is an agility club in Boise.

'Tis-A-'Senji is a family of Basenjis headed by Fred & Joyce Hughes. Follow the link to their page to learn about them and their basenjis.

The Weber Family Website has a lot of good information. Along with telling all about themselves and their son, Dusty; Keith and Soo Weber have published the knowledge they have gained during the last few years with their Great Pyrenees. Pay special attention to the "Dog Nutrition" and "Selecting the Right Breed of Dog" pages.

Redcoat Kennel is a group of Irish Setters and Shetland Sheepdogs headed by a past PKC president, Jane Guidinger, and her husband, Maurice.

Teri Ritter has a couple Chinese Cresteds, Pokey and her daughter Moxie, and a Doberman named Ruby. They call themselves Hokus Pokus Kennel.

Lynn Murdoch, who joined the club in March of 2003, owns Alaskan Malamutes and has begun construction of her website. Check it out and read about her and her giant teddy bears.

Clu Carradine has raised and shown Samoyeds since 1973. She currently resides in Santa Barbara, California but enjoyed living in Pocatello and maintains her connections here. Clu helps with Sammy rescue and does some therapy work with her Samoyeds.

Dan Narsavage has been a member of the PKC since 2002, and he's our webmaster. He owns a pointer, named Sue, who pays little attention to him and likes to eat shoes and occasionally pee in the house.
